¶ FR0122: Spool holder filament in use. To print with CFS, unload spool holder filament and reload CFS/CFS Lite filament before printing.

¶ Why does this prompt appear?
This prompt indicates that during the printing process, the external spool filament is in use. If you need to switch to CFS/CFS Lite for printing, you must first unload the current external spool filament. Specific situations include:
- When initiating a print, the CFS/CFS Lite option was selected, but non-CFS/non-CFS Lite filament still exists in the extruder.
- There may be broken filament in the printer, requiring nozzle clog treatment before retrying.
- Quality issues with the filament break detector. Unstable filament detection leads to frequent false triggering.
- Fluctuations in the nozzle board level signal are causing error messages
¶ How to solve it?
Manual filament unloading: Users need to manually click unload to ensure the external spool filament is completely removed.
Check extruder status: Confirm whether there is broken filament in the extruder and address it.
Reinitiate printing: After unloading the external spool filament and addressing any filament in the extruder, start the CFS/CFS Lite print job again.
Check the status of the filament break detector: Verify if the filament detection is working properly. Under normal conditions, when the filament detection board detects filament, the indicator light should turn blue.
¶ General troubleshooting steps:
Click the "Unload" button on the screen to completely remove the external spool filament.
Check if there is still external spool filament or broken filament in the extruder.
Address any broken filament, ensuring the extruder is in normal working condition.
After confirming the CFS/CFS Lite filament is ready, reinitiate the print job.
Unplug the CFS/CFS Lite communication cable and turn on the machine. Check if the filament detection icon on the main interface appears normal.
Note: When no filament is detected, the filament break detection will be displayed (K2 Plus/Creality Hi have the same filament break detection icon). Please refer to the image below. When filament is detected, this icon will not be shown on the screen.
Unload Current Filament: Click on unload, the printer will automatically heat the hot end to the appropriate temperature and cut the filament. Wait patiently for the unloading to complete. After unloading is complete, pull the filament out from the toolhead until it is outside the PTFE tube.
If it is confirmed that the filament break detection is falsely triggering, the filament detection module needs to be replaced. If the error persists after replacing the filament detection module, the nozzle board needs to be replaced.
