What is the maximum working area of the device?
358mm*268mm
What type of laser source does the device use?
The standard 20W blue laser is a semiconductor laser with a wavelength of 455±5nm and a spot size of approximately 0.080.10mm;
The optional 2W infrared laser is a solid - state pumped laser with a wavelength of 1064±1nm and a spot size of approximately 0.030.03mm.
What happens if the device loses power during operation?
When the power is cut off during a carving task, the laser head will stop in its original position. When the device is powered on again, it will initialize and will not continue the original task.
Why can't the pattern be engraved at all (or is engraved very shallowly)?
The imported image should be clear. Ensure proper focusing before engraving, and set appropriate power, speed, and number of passes.
Why does the engraved pattern differ significantly from the original (e.g., straight lines are not straight and are crooked)?
Check whether the device screws are tightened and whether the belt is too loose.
Judgment method: When the laser module can slowly slide on the X - axis profile perpendicular to the table under the action of gravity, and none of the pulleys in the laser head assembly slip freely, the belt tension is appropriate; otherwise, manually adjust the belt tension.
What should I do if the pattern is incompletely engraved (or the depth is inconsistent)?
Ensure that the object to be engraved is flat, the device is level, and focus correctly according to the operation method in the instruction manual.
Will the laser damage the workbench during engraving?
When engraving thin objects (such as paper), the laser may penetrate the object and leave marks on the workbench. It is recommended to place an object that the laser cannot penetrate, such as a metal plate or honeycomb plate, under the engraved object.
Why does the light strip suddenly turn off when the device is autofocusing?
The device uses a combination of camera vision and positioning red dot laser to measure the thickness of the processing material. The fill light strip in the chamber will interfere with the autofocusing ranging effect. Therefore, the device will dim the lighting during the autofocusing operation to obtain more accurate ranging data, and the light strip in the chamber will automatically light up after the ranging is completed.
Why does the device not respond after being powered on?
(1) Check whether the power plug of the device is inserted properly.
(2) Check the power supply of the power socket.
(3) Check whether the power switch on the device is turned on.
(4) Check whether the emergency stop switch and safety lock are turned on.
Must goggles be worn when using the device?
The device is equipped with a light - blocking front cover and top cover, and has a function of stopping when the cover is opened, which effectively avoids laser leakage caused by accidental opening. Even so, we still recommend wearing goggles when engraving.
What is the impact of a loose timing belt on the engraving or cutting effect?
The engraved graphics will be deformed and obviously misaligned, such as a perfect circle becoming an ellipse.

Can it engrave on curved materials?
Yes, but the curvature of the material and the area of the engraved graphic should not be too large, otherwise there will be slight deformation.
Can it engrave on reflective/transparent materials such as ceramics/glass?
It is not recommended to engrave directly on any highly reflective material, such as mirror - finished stainless steel. However, before engraving, apply an anti - reflective material to the surface of the material to ensure the engraving effect and prevent the reflected light from damaging the laser head.
Why is there a large difference in the processing effect when using the same G - code file for materials of the same texture but different colors?
Materials of different colors have different optical properties and differ in the absorption and reflection of laser energy. It is recommended to set different power and speed in the software when engraving materials of the same texture but different colors.
There is black ash on the material after cutting. How to deal with it?
Appropriately reduce the laser power, increase the speed, and turn on the strong air assist airflow.
Why can't the material be cut through at one time?
(1) Ensure that the device and the engraving material are parallel to the workbench surface;
(2) Ensure that the protective lens of the laser module is clean;
(3) Ensure that the focusing is done correctly according to the method in the quick use guide;
(4) Reconfirm the material thickness and set the parameters with reference to the recommended parameters in the random data;
(5) Gradually increase the number of cutting passes or appropriately reduce the cutting speed.
(6)Please manually adjust the focal length to improve cutting capability.
Should air assist be used?
The main functions of air assist:
(1) Effectively blow away the smoke and dust generated during engraving or cutting, protect the lens of the laser module, and ensure stable laser energy;
(2) Quickly reduce the temperature of the cutting material surface, blow away the high - temperature smoke and dust, keep the material surface clean, and make the cutting edge smoother and more delicate.
It is recommended to turn on a weak air current when engraving and a larger air current when cutting (the effect depends on the specific material).
Is an air purifier needed?
We strongly recommend that you use an air purification device. Whether you are engraving and cutting wood or other materials, especially when processing organic materials such as acrylic, various harmful gaseous pollutants and pungent odors will be released. For the health of you and those around you, a purification device is needed to remove these odors.
Why doesn't the laser emit light when powered on?
(1) Check whether the connection between the laser and the device is intact and normal, and whether there is any looseness or wire breakage;
(2) If you process for a long time, check whether the temperature of the laser is too high. Pay attention to the surface temperature of the laser to prevent scalding;
(3) Check whether the laser fan is running normally. If the fan is dirty, you can disassemble the laser to clean the fan.
There is abnormal noise when the laser is running?
There is a quick-release wrench on the right side of the laser of the A1 Pro laser engraver. Check whether the wrench is loose and press the wrench downward to fasten the laser and avoid looseness.
Why does the interactive screen shake?
Check whether the interactive screen is firmly inserted into the fixed slot on the host and inserted to the bottom.
When controlling the engraver via the App or PC on a local area network, the response is slow or there is no response?
Check whether the local area network of your home is communicating normally, and try to place the device in an environment with good wireless information when using the wireless function.
The autofocus data is inaccurate?
(1) Please ensure the material to be measured is placed at the center of the processing chamber, verify that the positioning red dot laser is emitting properly without obstructions, and confirm the laser point is correctly projected on the material.
(2) Avoid strong light entering the processing chamber during autofocusing.
Why does the laser occasionally fail to cut through the wood board and the light output is uneven?
The laser will generate heat during use. After long-term use, if the temperature of the laser itself is too high, the laser power will be insufficient and the light output will be discontinuous. Please stop the machine for more than 30 minutes and continue using it after the machine temperature returns to normal, or try to use the laser engraver in an environment of 20~30℃.
Precautions for using the infrared laser:
The infrared laser module can operate at temperatures between 10℃ and 35℃ (50°F and 95°F), with an optimal working temperature of 20~30℃ (68°F to 86°F).
(1) 10℃~20℃ (50°F to 68°F): The laser module requires preheating for several seconds. It is recommended to perform processing tests on test materials before operation.
(2) 20℃~30℃ (68°F to 86°F): The laser module is in its optimal working state.
(3) 30℃~35℃ (86°F to 95°F): The laser module can operate normally, but please pay attention to the indicator light of the Z - axis component beside the laser. Overheating will trigger thermal protection—stop processing and wait for the laser to return to room temperature before resuming use to avoid damaging the laser module.
(4) Temperature above 35℃ (95°F): Do not use the infrared laser module. Extremely high temperatures may damage the laser module components, and such cases are not covered by the warranty.
Why can't the quick - release module be assembled when replacing the laser?
When installing the laser, make sure that the spring handle below the component is pushed in, align the laser with the base and then install it downward. After installation, the quick - release module should be flush with the top surface of the laser and not 翘起 (翘起:翘起).
Why are there many burning marks on the back of the board after cutting?
When cutting wood, please use a honeycomb plate under it at the same time. Install the foot pads on the honeycomb plate, which can significantly reduce the burning marks on the board.
How to clean the laser lens?
After the machine is used for a period of time, the mirror surface of the laser may become dirty. You can use a dust - free cloth and a cotton swab with an appropriate amount of alcohol to clean the protective mirror and air nozzle of the laser. Note that the protective mirror is very fragile and easy to scratch.
How to choose the air pump airflow?
The engraver will automatically start and stop the air pump during processing, and intelligently adjust the air pump airflow speed according to the engraving, cutting, and filling engraving in the processing task. It is recommended that you choose the intelligent control mode.
Why does my flame detection always have false alarms?
The flame detection function identifies the presence of fire by detecting light wavelengths through sensors and visual analysis by the camera. If the machine is placed near a bright window or in an outdoor environment where ambient light changes rapidly, it may mistakenly identify the light changes as fire, trigger an alarm, and stop processing.
You can enable or disable the flame detection function in the device settings. Regardless of whether the function is enabled or disabled, always ensure the machine is under supervision during operation to prevent potential fire hazards.
