¶ Phenomenon Description
The screen displays "Error, key: 2565. The heated bed is not heating as expected".
¶ Cause Analysis
- The mainboard is faulty.
- The heating plate wiring has a short circuit/open circuit.
- Heating plate failure
- Hot bed issue
¶ Troubleshooting
Measure the voltage at ports 2 and 3 of the mainboard heating wire connection (as shown in the picture) during the heating process. The voltage should be constantly changing; this is normal. A fixed voltage or no voltage is abnormal. If abnormal, replace the mainboard kit.
Use a multimeter to check if the wire connection between the mainboard and heating plate is normal or short-circuited. If the wiring is problematic, replace the cable.
If the above two steps are normal, measure if there is voltage output during the heating process of the hot bed heating wire (220V/110V depending on local voltage). If there is no voltage output, replace the heating plate.
If all three steps above are normal but the error still occurs, replace the hot bed assembly. Replace Ender-5 Max Hot Bed Assembly
