¶ Phenomenon Description
The screen displays "Error, key: 2564, the extruder is not heating as expected."
¶ Cause Analysis
- The nozzle heating wire and thermistor terminal blocks are not properly inserted.
- Damage to the heating element in the hotend kit wires, etc.
- Hotend board malfunction.
¶ Troubleshooting
Remove the nozzle cover and check if the nozzle heating wire and thermistor terminal blocks are properly inserted on the hotend board.
Remove the nozzle insulation sleeve and check the ceramic heating ring for cracks or other exceptions.
Touch the metal rod of the thermistor to check it is loosening.
If the warranty period has expired, please replace the Ender-5 Max hotend. Replace Ender-5 Max Hotend
