¶ Issue Description
When using the Scan Bridge with the Creality 3D scanner to scan black or dark objects (such as black bicycle pedals), or objects with mixed surfaces that include both glossy and matte areas, the laser lines in the scanning view appear sparse, and data capture is incomplete or difficult. Even after adjusting the exposure parameters, there is still no obvious improvement. This issue commonly occurs on Scan Bridge with firmware v1.3.1.
¶ Troubleshooting and Solutions

Make sure you are using the latest version of CrealityScan.

Troubleshoot the scanning environment and object effects, and make appropriate adjustments:
- Avoid using a white background. The background color affects the number of point cloud, and this issue is especially noticeable against a white background.
- Avoid scanning under conditions with strong black‑and‑white contrast between the object and the background. It is recommended to place the object on a neutral‑colored background cloth or work surface, and scan in a scene with lower black‑and‑white contrast.
- Avoid scanning when both the object and the environment contain glossy and matte surfaces at the same time.
¶ Example Cases
When there is strong black‑and‑white contrast between the object and the background, the number of valid point cloud is low, and the model is difficult to scan completely;

Placing the object on a brown desktop (low‑contrast background) allows the object to be scanned completely;

Black object + black turntable (same color family, low‑contrast background) results in better model integrity after scanning.
