When the scanner is bumped or hasn’t been calibrated for a long time, calibrating it with the included calibration board can restore the scanner’s measurement accuracy.
Additionally, if your scan requires high precision, please preheat for 30 minutes before starting the calibration, and commence scanning your target after the calibration is complete.
During the calibration process, the software provides intuitive 3D animation guidance, making calibration easy to complete.
Before starting the calibration process, you need to enter the SN information located on the back of the calibration board. The following two input methods are supported:
Scan Input: Use the scanner to scan the QR code to automatically obtain the SN information. This method does not require the computer to be connected to the internet.
Manual Input: Manually enter the SN information. Since manual input requires online verification, please ensure that the computer is connected to the internet. Otherwise, the verification will fail.
When Creality Pika is connected to a PC for calibration, scanning the QR code to input the SN information is currently not supported. Only the manual input method is available.
When calibrating with Pika, please ensure that the computer is connected to the internet to complete SN information verification.
