The lubrication interval for the i7 motion system depends on usage frequency. Under normal conditions, it is recommended to lubricate the motion system when the printer displays a “Motion System Lubricate” prompt, or when a lubrication reminder pop-up appears in the Creality Cloud App.

Go to the Control page on the printer and tap Unlock Motors.
Moisten a lint-free cloth with alcohol. Move the toolhead to one side and wipe the X-axis Linear Rail until no visible dust or debris remains.
Move the toolhead to the opposite side and clean the remaining section of the X-axis Linear Rail.
Apply lubricating oil into the front and rear grooves of the X-axis Linear Rail, placing a drop every 5–10 cm.
Move the toolhead left and right five times to ensure an oil film forms and evenly covers the entire X-axis Linear Rail.
Move the Heated Bed to the rear of the printer. Use a lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol to clean the two Y-axis guide rods.
Move the heated bed to the front and clean the remaining sections until no visible contamination remains on the rods.
Apply lubricating oil to the guide rods, placing a drop every 5–10 cm.
Move the heated bed back and forth to allow the oil to spread evenly and form an oil film on the guide rods.
Use a lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol to clean the Z-axis lead screws.
Apply grease to both lead screws, placing it every 5–10 cm.
Hold both ends of the X-axis Assembly and move it up and down three times to ensure the grease is evenly distributed along the lead screws.
