The following parameters will only be displayed when support is enabled and tree support is selected.
Diameter of the Tip of Organic Tree Support. When the width of the support area exceeds a specific value (3 times the line width) or the diameter of the tip of the organic tree support is large, a support interface will be added to ensure the print quality of the overhanging surface.
The distance between the tips of tree support branches, which is the spacing between adjacent support nodes. A smaller tree support branch distance results in more support nodes, leading to better quality of the overhanging surface, but also increases the difficulty of removing the support. This parameter is not applicable to organic tree supports.
The branch density of tree supports, which functions similarly to the tree support branch distance. Higher branch density means more branches and support nodes, resulting in better quality of the overhanging surface, but also increasing the difficulty of removing the support. If a dense interface is needed, it is recommended to adjust the top interface parameters rather than simply using a higher branch density. This parameter is only applicable to organic tree supports.
The diameter of the branches near the top of the tree support. A larger branch diameter provides greater stability for support but also makes it more difficult to remove.
The angle at which the diameter of the branches transitions as they grow towards the tree fork. Typically, the diameter at the tip of the branch is smaller, while the diameter closer to the fork is larger, resulting in varying thickness along the length of the branch. The branch diameter angle controls the degree of this diameter variation along the length of the branch. When set to 0, the diameter remains consistent along the length of the branch. This parameter is only applicable to organic tree supports.
The branching angle of the tree support branches. A larger tree support branch angle allows the branches to be printed more horizontally, making it easier to avoid the model surface and extend further. Setting this to 0 means that the tree support can only extend vertically, which will prevent the generation of branches and result in a cylindrical support structure.
