This Privacy Policy applies to you and your use of Creality Print client application and related services (collectively referred to as the "Software"). The Software is provided by Shenzhen Creality 3D Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates ("Creality", "we", "us", or "our").
Creality Print is a FFF 3D printing slicer software that supports 3D model import, preview, editing and slicing. It integrates the Creality Cloud online model library for searching, browsing, downloading and uploading models, and provides printer device management and AI-assisted slicing features.
As the data controller, we understand the importance of your privacy. Please take the time to read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we collect, use, store and share your personal information.
This Software is not intended for use by users under the age of 16. If you are under 16, you must have your parent or guardian's consent to use this Software.

Account Registration and Login: Mobile phone number or email address (required to fulfill network real-name verification requirements). You may also choose to register or log in through third-party accounts (WeChat, QQ), in which case we will obtain your authorized public profile information (avatar, nickname) from the third-party platform.
Models and Slicing Services: 3D model files and their previews that you import or upload, slicing configuration parameters.
AI Feature Usage: When you use AI-powered features (accessed via the AI mode toggle in the title bar), including AI slicing suggestions, AI support optimization, AI fault diagnosis, AI parameter recommendations, and AI print quality assessment, we collect: 3D model files and their previews, print process photos, print result photos, print bed photos that you upload, and print parameters you input or select (printer model, nozzle specifications, material type, temperature, speed, layer height, support settings, etc.). If you upload photos containing facial images, this constitutes sensitive personal data in certain jurisdictions (e.g., biometric data under the GDPR), and we will seek your explicit consent before collection and processing.
Feedback: Contact information, problem descriptions, uploaded images/log files that you submit through the in-app feedback feature.
Device and Application Information: Device model, operating system version, application version, device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, IDFA, OAID, UUID, etc.), network status, IP address, screen size, system language.
Log Information: Visit timestamps, operation trails, crash logs, print job logs, device running logs, fault information, AI feature usage records, AI request and generation logs.
Model-Related Data: Metadata of 3D models you upload or download (author, upload time, download counts), favorites and likes, AI-generated slicing suggestions and parameter recommendation results.
Device Management Data: Added printer device information (device model, device ID/DN number/SN code, IP address, network configuration information), device status (online/offline), consumable information.
Online Parameter Data: Your printer model and consumable selections, system preset parameter configurations, and update records.
Project Data: Project information you create and open, project operation records.
Within the scope permitted by law, we may obtain your personal information from third parties, including:
Third-party login platforms (WeChat, QQ): authorized public profile information;
AI service partners: non-personal generation logs and service status data generated during the provision of generative services.
Statistical information that cannot identify specific individuals, such as user activity levels, feature usage rates, model download rankings, AI feature usage rates. We strictly separate this information from personal data and use it only for service optimization and experience improvement.
We process your personal information based on the following legal grounds, as applicable under the laws of your jurisdiction: contract performance, consent, legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, or other lawful bases.
Core slicing and printing services: Account registration and login, 3D model import and preview, slicing functionality, model and support editing, auto-layout and model repair, print parameter configuration, G-code generation and saving, USB connected printing and WiFi/LAN sending to printer.
Model library services: Online model searching, browsing, downloading, uploading, favorites and likes via the in-app online model library; Creality Cloud model library interconnection.
Provision and optimization of AI features: Generative computing, effect optimization, and quality enhancement for AI features (including AI slicing suggestions, AI support optimization, AI placement/orientation suggestions, AI parameter recommendations, AI fault diagnosis, AI print quality assessment and repair suggestions, etc.); integration with third-party AI platforms to provide generative services; and the storage and management of AI-generated content. You can toggle the AI mode on or off at any time via the AI mode switch in the title bar.
Device management: Printer discovery, addition (scanning/manual), network pairing, status monitoring, consumable management, fault diagnosis.
Online parameter management: Retrieval and updating of system preset parameters, printer model and consumable parameter configurations.
Project management: Project creation, opening, and management.
Service security and risk control: Detection of abnormal logins, anti-fraud, troubleshooting, and ensuring secure system operations.
Enhancing service experience: Feature optimization, page adaptation, and issue identification/improvement.
Delivery of messages and notifications: Notifications regarding print status, account security, and system announcements. (Note: You may opt out of non-essential push notifications where applicable.)
Fulfillment of legal obligations: Content compliance reviews, minor protection, responding to regulatory and judicial requests, and retention of log data.
Other purposes permitted by law or based on your consent.
In principle, personal information collected and generated by us within a certain region will be stored within that region (for example, the United States, China, etc.). However, you understand and agree that because we may provide products or services through global resources and servers, your personal information may be transmitted and stored on servers that comply with the laws and regulations of your region and data compliance and security requirements. No matter where your personal information is transmitted, we will fulfill cross-border data compliance obligations in accordance with applicable laws and take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information receives protection consistent with this Policy.
When your information is no longer needed to achieve the purposes and uses specified in this Privacy Policy, and it is also not necessary to retain it in accordance with relevant laws and regulations or your agreement with us, we will take reasonable steps to destroy personal information securely or make it unidentifiable and unable to be edited, modified, or used again.
We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless the law requires or allows a longer retention period (for example, for tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
When we no longer need to process your personal information for legitimate business purposes, we will delete or anonymize the information; if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information is stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until it can be deleted.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including SSL/TLS encrypted transmission, data encryption at rest, access controls, regular security assessments, and incident response procedures. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, transmission of information to and from the Site is at your own risk.

More specifically, we may share your personal data with trusted third-party service providers and partners who perform services on our behalf. These include:
Cloud hosting providers;
AI and Modeling Technology Partners: We utilize third-party AI service platforms to power specific features like AI-driven slicing suggestions, support optimization, fault diagnosis, and parameter recommendations. When you use these features, relevant content data (e.g., uploaded model files, photos, print parameters) is transmitted to these partners for processing. Without your explicit consent, we and the third-party AI service platforms will not use your uploaded model files or photos for AI model training or other commercial purposes unrelated to providing AI services.
Analytics and crash reporting providers;
Customer service partners.
Cross-Border Data Transfers: Your data may be stored and processed on servers outside your jurisdiction, including in the United States, mainland China. This includes data processed by our AI partners and cloud providers. We have implemented appropriate contractual or technical safeguards to protect your data during such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required by applicable law.
Other Users: When you voluntarily publish content (e.g., publicly uploaded models to the Creality Cloud model library), such personal information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside the Software in perpetuity. You bear the associated risks.
