This error indicates that during printing, the buffer did not detect any status change for 16 seconds, and the filament is not moving normally. Possible reasons include:
The extruder is clogged or the CFS spool is stuck, preventing the filament from feeding smoothly.
The hub outlet motor is not working properly, unable to feed the filament into the extruder.
Buffer connection issues
Mechanical or circuit failure in the buffer itself.
Check for clogging: Inspect the extruder for any clogging issues preventing normal filament extrusion. Address accordingly.
Ensure proper buffer connection: Confirm that the buffer is correctly connected to the printer, especially the Creality 485 cable is securely connected, and the blue light on the buffer is on.
Check buffer status: Examine if the buffer is stuck or has other mechanical issues. If the buffer is stuck, manual adjustment or cleaning of tangled filament may be necessary.
Check if the hub outlet motor is working properly: Confirm that the hub outlet motor can rotate normally. If the motor doesn't turn, check if the motor wiring is correct.
Check buffer connection: Confirm that the communication cable (485) is securely connected, ensuring the blue indicator light is on.
Physical inspection of buffer: Manually rotate the buffer to ensure there's no sticking. If there's filament tangling, clean it immediately.
Check the extruder: Disassemble the extrusion module, follow the clogged nozzle treatment plan to address the clogging issue, refer to K2 Plus Jammed Filament.
Check the hub outlet motor: Confirm that the motor can rotate normally. If there's motor abnormality, check the wiring and power supply, replace the motor or repair if necessary.
