When the air pump is correctly connected to the device, the AIR indicator light on the laser module will change according to the following patterns, which is normal and requires no concern:
Initial Connection (First 30 seconds): The AIR indicator light remains solid green, which is a signal that the air pump is in "ready" status, preparing for startup.
After 30 seconds (Standby Mode): The indicator light will change from green to flashing red. This occurs because when the device enters "standby mode," the air pump temporarily stops working. The flashing red light is a normal indication of standby status, not a fault.
When Engraving Again: When you operate the device again to start an engraving task, the air pump will automatically restart, and the AIR indicator light will return to green, ensuring normal air pump operation during the engraving process.
If the following situations occur, they are considered abnormal and may affect the air pump or engraving function. Connection or device issues need to be investigated:
Abnormal Symptom: After the air pump is normally connected, the AIR indicator light remains flashing red, and cannot return to green even after initiating an engraving operation.
Suggestion: When encountering this situation, it is recommended to first check if the connection between the air pump and the device is loose or if the interface is properly inserted. If the connection is fine, refer to the device manual for further troubleshooting, or contact professional staff or customer service (Mail: cs@creality.com) for assistance.
When powering on, check if the air pump makes a humming sound, place your hand on the air pump to feel for vibration, and remove the air tube to check if there is airflow
