¶ Notes for Cutting Operations
- For all types of material cutting, a slat bed must be laid in the processing area. Never cut directly on the equipment's base plate, as the laser will burn and damage the base plate, causing irreversible wear.
- If a slat bed is unavailable, place small spacer materials under the workpiece to leave a certain ventilation gap at the bottom of the material, which can effectively reduce charring on the cutting edges.
