This device is equipped with a dedicated 2.4GHz WiFi module and can connect to a wireless network directly without a mobile phone as an intermediary.
This device only supports 2.4GHz WiFi and does not support 5GHz, 6GHz, or dual-band integrated/combined WiFi.
If you cannot connect properly, please troubleshoot the settings by following the steps below:
1. Confirm Your WiFi Band
1.1 Check the WiFi name or router settings:
- Name includes 2.4G: Connectable normally;
- Name includes 5G/5GHz/6G: Not connectable;
- No suffix (dual-band integrated/combined): Unrecognizable by the device, separate setup required.
1.2 WiFi band information can be confirmed on the router administration page.
2. Correct Connection Steps
2.1 Power on the device, enter the WiFi connection settings interface on the screen, and turn on the WiFi switch.
2.2 From the WiFi list on the device, select a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
2.3 Enter the corresponding WiFi password to complete the connection.
2.4 No mobile phone is required; the device can access the network independently.
3. Solutions for Common Connection Failures
3.1 Router has "Dual-Band Integration / Combined Band" enabled
Please access the router settings, disable band merging, and set different names for 2.4G and 5G WiFi (e.g., WiFi-2.4G, WiFi-5G), then connect the device to the 2.4G band.
3.2 Accidentally connected to a 5GHz WiFi network
Please switch to a 2.4GHz WiFi network and try again.
3.3 WiFi name or password contains special characters, Chinese characters, or spaces
We recommend changing it to a combination of letters and numbers to improve connection stability.
Weak WiFi signal
3.4 Move the device closer to the router and ensure a stable 2.4G signal before connecting.
4. Important Notes
This device uses 2.4GHz WiFi, which offers the advantages of wide coverage, strong wall penetration, and stable connection to meet daily usage requirements. The limitation on supported bands is a designed feature, not a device malfunction.
