It clamps from the outside by default, which can be changed to prop up from the inner side according to the needs.
a. Rotate the chuck to the position where the triangle mark points to the rack hand-twisted screw. Tighten the hand-twisted screw.
b. Rotate the tensioner to fix the engraved object. Install the support module as needed: hold the rotary chuck kit with one hand, push the support module inward with the other hand until the tray of the support module presses tightly against the engraving object, and then tighten the hand-twisted screw of the support module clockwise. Rotate the tensioner slightly again to make sure the engraving object is fixed.
c. Loosen the rack hand-twisted screw. Rotate the chuck to check if the engraving object can rotate smoothly. If it cannot rotate smoothly, further loosen the rack hand-twisted screw.
Note: Before connecting the Rotary Kit to the engraver, please check the height of the internal working space of the engraver. If the height is insufficient to accommodate the Rotary Kit, please first install heightening columns on the engraver.
a. Connect to A1/A1 Pro
Use the connection cable to connect the Rotary Kit to the interface on the right side of the A1/A1 Pro machine.
b. Connect to Falcon2/Falcon2 Pro
Pull out the Y-axis motor cable of the machine and connect the Y-axis motor cable to the rotation kit via the connecting cable.
c. Connect to CR-Laser
Pull out the Y-axis motor cable of the machine and connect the Y-axis motor cable to the rotation kit via the connecting cable.
a. Rotate A counterclockwise to loosen the timing belt.
b. Loosen and remove the screw.
c. After moving the roller to the appropriate spacing, secure it with the screw in the previous step, and rotate A clockwise to tighten the timing belt.
a. Secure the lifting bracket to the bottom of the Roller.
b. First loosen the screw, adjust the height of the lifting bracket according to the carving material, and then tighten the screw to secure it.
Note: Before connecting the Rotary Roller to the engraver, please check the height of the internal working space of the engraver. If the height is insufficient to accommodate the Rotary Roller, please first install heightening columns on the engraver.
a. Connect to A1/A1 Pro
Use the standard rotation kit connection cable of the A1/A1 Pro machine to connect to the Rotary Roller and the interface on the right side of the A1/A1 Pro machine.
b. Connect to Falcon2/Falcon2 Pro
Disconnect the Y-axis motor cable from the Falcon2/Falcon2 Pro, and connect the Y-axis motor cable to the Rotary Roller using the connection cable included with the Rotary Roller.
c. Connect to CR-Laser
Disconnect the Y-axis motor cable from the CR-Laser, and use the connecting cable included with the Rotary Roller to connect the Y-axis motor cable to the Rotary Roller.
1. Use the standard ruler to measure the perimeter of the carving material and record the data.
2. Secure the carving material using a clamping jaw/stud, place the rotary kit on the carving machine, and connect the Rotary Chunk to the carving machine using a connecting cable.
3. Open Falcon Design Space, connect the engraver. Then select Chunk-Rotary Engraving in Processing Mode, and click Auto Focus to perform the auto-focus operation (or manually perform the focusing operation).
4. Enter the perimeter of the carving material, click to take a photo (this function is not supported on machines without a camera), then import the carving pattern and position it properly, set the rotation direction and pattern size, and set the material and carving mode.
5. Click on the Frame to perform the border running operation, observe whether the carved area of the materials meets the expectations, and if there are no issues, click Start to begin carving.
1.Place the Rotary Roller in the working area of the engraving machine, and connect the Roller to the engraving machine using a connecting cable.
2. Place the carving material on the Roller, adjust the position of the Roller, and manually focus using the fixed focus block (or perform the autofocus operation in the next step) .
3. Open Falcon Design Space, connect the engraver, then select Roller-Rotary Engraving in Processing Mode (if the machine supports autofocus operation, perform autofocus).
4. ① Click to take a photo (machines without a camera do not support this function), ② Import the carving pattern and position it properly, ③ Set the rotation direction and pattern size, ④ Set the material and carving mode.
5. Click on the Frame to perform the border running operation, observe whether the laser engraving area meets the expectations, and if there are no issues, click Start to begin engraving.
