¶ Steps
¶ Disassembly
Power off and unplug the power cord
Remove the positioning clip of the PTFE tube
Use the hexagonal wrench to remove the three screws on the cable chain cover, then remove the cover
Remove the hotend circuit board protective cover
Unplug the nozzle cable. (Relevant tutorial video: Replace Nozzle Adapter Cable)
Use the flathead screwdriver to pry open the drag chain cover
Pull out a small section of the hotend cable to create operation space
Use the hexagonal wrench to remove the three screws of the drag chain.
Separate the hotend cable from the drag chain
¶ Install Drag Chain
Place the new drag chain with the end that has screw holes facing backward
Use the hexagonal wrench to install the three screws of the drag chain
Thread the hotend cable through the port of the drag chain.
Close the drag chain cover
Plug in the hotend cable
¶ Install the drag chain cover
Use the hexagonal wrench to install the three screws on the drag chain cover
¶ Install protective cover of the hotend circuit board
¶ Install the positioning clip of the PTFE tube
