¶ 1. Unload Filament
¶ 1.1 Unload Filament
Set the nozzle temperature to 260℃, remove the blue wire clamp on the extruder, press the claw to pull out the Teflon tube, turn the extruder to the unlocked state, and pull out the filament (new extrusion clamp presses the white pneumatic connector to pull out the Teflon tube, turn the extruder to the unlocked state, and pull out the filament);
¶ 1.2 Turn off the printer or set the nozzle temperature to 0℃
¶ 2. Remove AI LiDAR (K1/K1 C that lacks LiDAR can Skip This Step)
¶ 2.1 Unplug the AI LiDAR Terminal
¶ 2.2 Remove the Laser Radar Fixing Screws
¶ 3. Remove the front housing of the extruder
¶ Tools:
H2.0 Hexagonal Wrench
¶ 3.1 Remove Fixing Screws
Remove the fixing screws on both sides of the Hotend Cover
¶ 3.2 Remove Cover and Unplug Fan Terminal
Remove the Hotend Cover and Unplug the Model Fan Terminal
¶ 4. Remove Glue and Unplug Cables
Remove the Yellow Glue and Unplug the Heating's and Thermistor's Terminal Cables
¶ 4.1 Remove the Yellow Glue
Use pliers to remove the yellow glue of the sprinkler head's terminal (be careful not to remove it hard, it is easy to tear the cable), pull out the cable terminal (only remove the heating terminal and thermistor terminal cable)
¶ 4.2 Remove the sprinkler head silicone sleeve
Wait until the temperature cools down before operating to avoid burning
¶ 4.3 Remove the Sprinkler Head Fixing Screws
Use an H2.0 Hexagonal Wrench to remove the two cylindrical head screws securing the sprinkler head.
¶ 5. Install the New Hotend
¶ 5.1 Apply Thermal Grease
¶ 5.2 Install and Tighten
- Install the new integrated hotend kit and tighten the screws on both sides.
- Use a hexagonal wrench to tighten the screws on both sides of the heat sink
¶ 5.3 Plug in Cables
Plug in the heating terminal and thermistor terminal cable
¶ 6. Restore the Sprinkler Head Cover
¶ 6.1 Plug in the Model Fan Terminal
¶ 6.2 Tighten the fixing screws on both sides
Use an H2.0 hexagonal wrench to tighten the fixing screws on both sides
¶ 7. Recovering LiDAR(K1/K1 C that lacks LiDAR can Skip This Step)
¶ 7.1 Installing AI LiDAR
Install the radar by using the H2.0 hexagonal wrench
¶ 7.2 Plug in the AI LiDAR Terminal
