¶ 1. Phenomenon Description
The build platform emits abnormal noises during vertical movement.
¶ 2. Cause Analysis
Assembly issue causing lead screw and top Z-axis cover plate collision.
¶ 3. Troubleshooting
- Loosen the coupler screw to maintain the lead screw height flush with the Z-axis end cap bearing.
- Ensure the lead screw is centered in the hole to avoid collisions and noise between the lead screw and the middle plate edge during movement.
- If there is still noise after the above adjustments, loosen the anti-backlash nut screw and the linear rail block screw, allow the lead screw to move up and down for a period, and apply some lubrication oil. Tighten the screws once the noise ceases. As shown in the picture.
