The printer cannot connect to the network.
¶ 2. Cause Analysis
- WIFI module malfunction
- Antenna detachment causing unstable signal
- Customer network issues
- Network congestion
¶ 3. Troubleshooting
Turn on the machine's network and check if WIFI hotspots can be detected (to avoid situations with only one hidden WIFI, you can also use a mobile phone hotspot for testing).
¶ 3.1 No WIFI hotspots detected
WIFI module malfunction, replace the touch screen.
¶ 3.2 WIFI signals can be detected.
¶ 3.2.1 Weak signal
It's difficult to connect to WIFI, and prone to disconnection.
WIFI antenna detachment. Open the display screen and reattach the internal antenna.
¶ 3.2.2 Normal signal
The WIFI signal is normal with the correct password, but unable to connect.
- Blacklisted: The printer may have been added to the router's blacklist, preventing connection.
- Router quality issues: may become unstable or crash after long-term operation, requiring a router restart.
- IP address conflict: After a long period of disconnection, the assigned IP address may be used by other devices, causing an IP address conflict.
- Too many connected devices: When the number of connected devices reaches a certain limit, the router may refuse new device connections.
- Static IP settings: Some wireless routers require manual IP address configuration for connection.
