¶ 1. Phenomenon Description
The machine will restart if self-check or printing is heating.
¶ 2. Cause Analysis
¶ 2.1 When assembling the printer, the power gear fails not to adjust as required.
¶ 2.2 The switching power supply is insufficient
¶ 2.3 The hotend kit is short-circuited
¶ 2.4 The hot bed is short-circuited
¶ 2.5 The mainboard problem
¶ 3. Troubleshooting and Solution
¶ 3.1 Adjust the machine to the local voltage
After voltage adjustment, the machine still restarts heating. Check as follows:
Separately heat the hotend or test hotbed to see which will restart when heated (During self-test, you can check the interface display to confirm which part will restart when heated)
¶ 3.2 Restart when heating the hotend kit
Power off the machine, unplug the hotend kit flat cable for heating test.
¶ 3.2.1 Hotend Kit Problem
After unplugging, the heating is normal, but the machine reports an error, the device does not restart ----- hotend kit problem.
¶ 3.2.2 Mainboard or Switching Power Supply Problem
The machine restarts after unplugging ----- mainboard or switching power supply problem (Before heating, use a multimeter to measure the power supply voltage of the mainboard. It is always 24V when the machine is started. Check whether 24V is stable when the machine restarts immediately.) If the power supply voltage is unstable, it means switching power supply has a problem. If the power supply voltage is stable, the motherboard has a problem.)
¶ 3.3 Restart when heating the Hot Bed
Power off the machine, unplug the hot bed heating wire for heating test.
¶ 3.3.1 Hot Bed Problem
After unplugging, the heating is normal, but the machine reports an error. The equipment does not restart, it means hot bed problem.
¶ 3.3.2 Mainboard or Switching Power Supply Problem
The machine restarts after unplugging ----- mainboard or switching power supply problem (Before heating, use a multimeter to measure the power supply voltage of the mainboard. It is always 24V when the machine is started. Check whether 24V is stable when the machine restarts immediately.) If the power supply voltage is unstable, it means switching power supply has a problem. If the power supply voltage is stable, the motherboard has a problem.)
