Abnormal noise during the movement of the X-axis.
- 2.1 Motor wire bad connection
- 2.2 Belt Over-tightened/ Over-loose
¶ 3. Troubleshooting and solution
- 3.1 Check if the motor wires of the abnormal noise motor are well connected, and if there is a transfer board, the port of the transfer board also needs to be checked.
- 3.2 Re-adjust the tension of the belt.
- 3.3 Turn off the machine, unplug the motor wire, move the faulty axis by hands, and check for abnormal noise:

¶ Please note: Make a correct distinction between stuttering and abnormal noise issues.
- Abnormal Noise: This refers to the unusual sound that persists throughout the printing process. For example, motor abnormal noise, Y-axis linear bearing abnormal noise, Y-axis motion abnormal noise (this issue may occur if the idling speed exceeds 150mm/s), etc.
- Stuttering: The axis moves to a specifica spot and stutters, possibly accompanied by a sound. The easiest way to diagnose this is to unlock the motor and manually move it, where you will feel the stuttering sensation.
