Click on the screen control interface to unlock the motor, press the platform to the bottom and move the hotend to a position that is conveninent to operate.
Remove the hotend cover. If the wrapped nozzle is serious and can not be removed, consider destroying the cover. (hotend cover damage risk)
According to the current filament of the wrapped nozzle, increase the temperature until it exceeds the recommended printing temperature of the filament (for example, the recommended printing temperature of PLA is 190 ℃ ~ 230 ℃, it is recommended that the nozzle is heated up to 250 ℃), and wait for a period of time after the temperature is increased (about 5 ~ 8 minutes).
Wear heat-resistant gloves or use other tools such as scissors and pliers, and try to wrap the filament from the hot end. It will be easier to remove it by shaking it from side to side, back and forth.
After the larger piece of wrapped filament is cleaned up, set the nozzle temperature to 30 ℃ and wait for the nozzle to cool down.
Note: If the pipe fan is stuck and not easy to clean, it will cause the nozzle to cool down slowly, so you need to wait patiently and be careful of scalding, and you can use the hairdryer (cold air) to assist in cooling down the nozzle.
6. Use a wrench or screwdriver to manually push the cutter to cut off the filament.
7. Use a hexagonal wrench to unscrew the two screws fixing the hot end assembly, carefully pull out the hot end and thermal wires, and remove the hot end.
8. Clean the rest of the remaining wrap filament, carefully clean the pipe fan, hot end PCB board and other (risk of damage to the pipe fan and hot end PCB).
9. Clean the hot end. If the damage is serious, consider directly replacing the hot end assembly (hot end assembly damage risk).
10. After cleaning is completed, install back the hot end assembly, corresponding to insert the hot end, thermal wiring, and install the hotend cover .
11. Make sure that there is no filament in the extruder, select Input Shaping and Auto Leveling in the calibration, and wait for the printer self-check to complete to continue to use.
