When completed optimizing point cloud process, manually set a relatively small point distance, resulting in a long optimization time, stuck in a certain position of the processing bar for a long time.
The point distance set is small (recommomd Otter infrared structured light scan>0.1mm;Raptor blue laser light scan>0.05mm), leading to a relatively large calculation burden for the computer. If the computer performance is not powerful enough, it will lead to staying in a certain link of optimization for too long.
(1)Update software to version 3.2.x or above
(2)When optimizing point cloud, it is recommended not to use too small point distance for optimization process at the beginning. Use point distance such as 0.1 or 0.05mm according to actual needs for optimization.
(3)After scanning is completed, delete the unnecessary parts in the point cloud before optimizing to save optimization time.
(4)If optimization processes are indeed stuck at the same percentage point several times, you can end the current project and create a new project to scan again.
(5) If the above problems occur frequently, please contact the after-sales customer service, please send an email to the cs@creality.com and provide the failure information materials (can reference the template for user submission materials)
