- To apply color mapping to a model scanned in Blue Laser mode, you must use Global Marker mode. After creating a new project, click the "Settings" button on the right to open the scan settings window.
- In the scan settings, select Blue Laser → Global Marker Scanning, and enable Color Mapping.
- Start scanning the markers. The scanner will also capture color data of the object. It is recommended to perform a 360° surround scan of the object to capture as much color information as possible. After finishing the Global Marker scanning, click "Pause".
- Click "Settings", switch to "Pointcloud mode", then click Apply to start the point cloud scan.
- After scanning is complete, edit the point cloud data, perform point cloud fusion, and meshing.
- Finally, click Color Mapping in the lower‑right corner to generate a textured scan model.
In infrared mode, RGB color data of the object is automatically captured during scanning. After meshing is complete, you can use the color mapping function directly.
