If your computer or phone cannot detect Pika's Wi-Fi signal at all, preventing the scanner from connecting, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.
Note: This guide applies when Pika's Wi-Fi signal cannot be found at all. If the Wi-Fi network is visible but the connection fails, try turning on Airplane Mode and then reconnecting.
First, check the current firmware version of your Pika. Swipe down on the screen to open the Settings page, then tap “About” to see the firmware info.
You can connect Pika to a computer or Android phone via a USB cable and upgrade the scanner firmware to V1.1.10 or later to resolve the issue.
If your Pika's firmware version is later than V1.1.10, but your computer or phone still cannot detect Pika's Wi-Fi signal, check whether the device supports Wi-Fi 6.
Devices without Wi-Fi 6 support may not be able to detect Pika's Wi-Fi signal. In this case, we recommend using a computer or phone that supports Wi-Fi 6 to connect to Pika.
Check whether any third-party security or antivirus apps are installed on your device.
Some security apps, such as Norton Antivirus, may restrict connections to Wi-Fi networks that are not recognized as trusted networks.
If you have Norton installed, try adding the Pika Wi-Fi network to your trusted networks and then reconnect to Pika.
