The Clipping Plane function allows you to create a plane and delete point cloud data on one side of it, thereby quickly removing unwanted parts.
- Open the software, select Blue Laser Mode, set scan parameters, and turn on Preview.
- Start scanning to capture some plane data or markers, then pause the scan.

- Click the "Clipping Plane" icon to enter the setup page.

- Create a plane by selecting point clouds: Drag the Left mouse button to select the point cloud and create a plane.
Create a plane by selecting markers: Click the Left mouse button and manually select 3 markers on the plane data, then click Create Plane.

- After creating the plane, you can adjust it to the desired position by selecting "Move Plane" or "Rotate Plane".
- Move Plane: Adjust the view angle, then left click and hold on the arrow handle to move the plane.

- Rotate Plane: Adjust the view angle, then left click and drag the rotation control to rotate the plane.

Click "Apply" to confirm. Data below the plane will be automatically trimmed away, eliminating the need for manual deletion later. Click "Resume" to continue the scanning task.

After scanning is complete, you can still use the Clipping Plane function.

- Click the "Clipping Plane" icon to create the plane. The method for adjusting the plane is the same as described in the scanning process (move or rotate the plane to the desired position).
- Click "Apply", and the data on one side of the plane will be deleted.
