Core Principle: The gradient color change is cycled based on the length of filament extruded, not automatically separated by model height. On a single spool of filament, one complete gradient cycle of red, yellow, blue, and green requires a fixed length of filament to be consumed. If the weight of filament consumed during printing is insufficient, the complete 4-color cycle cannot be completed, and therefore all four colors — red, yellow, blue, and green — cannot be displayed simultaneously.
Small models (<10g): The amount of filament consumed in a single print is extremely small, covering only a short segment of the gradient cycle. Typically only 1 color is visible, with a maximum of a 2-color transition — it is not possible to display all four colors: red, yellow, blue, and green.
Medium models (50–100g): With increased filament consumption, 2–3 color gradient transitions can be observed; however, it is still difficult to complete the full red, yellow, blue, and green 4-color cycle, and one of the primary colors will most likely be missing.
Large decorative pieces / vases (>200g): The filament consumption is sufficient to cover a complete red, yellow, blue, and green gradient cycle, making it possible to display the full 4-color effect.
Note: If the model is very tall or filament consumption is extremely high, the print will span multiple gradient cycles, causing colors to repeat in a loop — it will not be limited to just one round of red, yellow, blue, and green.

Ender-PLA+ gradient color (red, yellow, blue, green) filament is a long-cycle gradient filament. Color changes are determined by the length of filament extruded, not by software-controlled color separation.
Small models <10g: Filament consumption is too short, resulting in only single/dual colors — the 4-color display cannot be achieved.
Medium models 50–100g: 2–3 color transitions are visible, but it is difficult to achieve all 4 colors.
Large models / vases >200g: Filament consumption is sufficient to cover a complete gradient cycle, allowing the full red, yellow, blue, and green effect to be displayed; When filament consumption is too large, colors will repeat cyclically.
Tip: Different starting positions on the same spool will result in differences in the starting color segment of the print — this is a normal characteristic of gradient color filament.
